Modern office setting Food provided Hanson Sign Companies is currently looking for a Graphics Printer Operator for our Graphics and Design department under the direction of the Production Manager.
The responsibilities include:
Duties:
Set up and operate the HP 700 latex Roll to Roll printer as required by work orders.
Performs other assignments as required by the Graphic Arts Supervisor or Production Manager such as hand painting, vinyl application and weeding, general assembly or any other tasks needed in the production area.
Read and understand work orders.
Must have knowledge of software programs, set ups, tolerances, maintenance and tooling preferred.
Application and weeding of vinyl graphics, general assembly such as stud mounting, routed letter assembly etc.
Basic knowledge of or ability to learn Adobe Illustrator, Gerber Composer and Onyx.
Run job according to specifications.
Perform quality inspections.
Complete necessary paperwork and labor hour reporting in the Keyed In Production software.
Requirements:
Ability to operate all power and hand tools used in the carpentry trade.
Ability to operate HP software, read work orders and perform mathematical computations.
Ability to work in a team environment reporting to a supervisor.
Written and verbal communication with management, sales staff, peers, and vendors is required on a daily basis and includes management of the work order process.
Must demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills as needed and determined by management and accept cross functional assignments if needed to insure completion of customer work orders in a timely manner.
A professional demeanor consistent with a best work environment is expected to be maintained at all times.
High School diploma or 2 years related experience in the trade is required.
