The Code Enforcement Officer administers and enforces all provisions of the Uniform Code, the Energy Code, and the Town of Ellicott Zoning Law; reviews permit applications, perform construction inspections, fire safety, and property maintenance inspections, and responds to complaints, among other duties assigned to the office.
Building construction or inspection experience preferred.
This is a provisional appointment pending completion and passing a Civil Service exam.
