Rand machine is seeking a skilled and experienced Level 2 Maintenance Technician with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on various equipment and systems.
Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our facilities.
The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical principles, possesses excellent problem-solving abilities, and demonstrates a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
oConduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
oDiagnose and perform repairs, replacements, or adjustments as necessary.
oTroubleshoot and repair electrical components such as motors, control panels, switchboards, circuit breakers, transformers, and lighting systems.
oInterpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
oInstall, maintain and calibrate equipment, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and safety standards.
oCollaborate with maintenance team members and other departments to schedule maintenance activities, prioritize tasks, and minimize equipment downtime.
oUtilize testing equipment and tools to measure voltage, current, resistance, and other electrical parameters for troubleshooting and verification purposes.
oKeep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment condition, utilizing computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or other documentation tools.
oAssist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols.
oStay updated on industry advancements, best practices, and regulatory changes pertaining to electrical systems and maintenance techniques.
Requirements:
oAssociate degree or Certificate Program; completion of a relevant technical program or apprenticeship is preferred.
oMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, with a focus on electrical systems and equipment.
oStrong knowledge of electrical principles, codes, and regulations.
oProficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
oExperience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical components such as motors, control panels, switchboards, circuit breakers, transformers, and lighting systems.
oFamiliarity with testing equipment, tools, and meters used for electrical diagnostics and measurements.
oAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
oExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
oStrong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
oEffective communication skills, both verbal and written.
