Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Our exclusive client is a growing industrial manufacturer looking to add a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to their team. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and engineering support within the manufacturing facility. Responsible for the design and improvement of new and existing processes, equipment, tooling, fixtures, gauges, safety programs and environmental programs. You will work closely with sales and new product groups relating to the development of new products and production processes in order to meet customer expectations for quality and on-time delivery.
Key Accountabilities:
Provide technical leadership to manufacturing engineering personnel and tool room employees
Select correct design concepts and fundamental technology for new products
Plan projects, scheduling and implementation
Establish and maintain budgets
Participate in new product development design
Requirements:
Minimum of five years experience managing an engineering department
CAD skills, Solid Works preferred
TS 16949 or ISO 9000 experience in an automotive environment preferred
Lean manufacturing experience
Bachelors degree in Engineering
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
